The Sea Spray condo was built in 1980 and is a two bedroom, two bath, 840 square foot condo in Atlantic Beach, NC. This condo had been in my mother's family since it was built and was used as s a vacation spot for my family, but primarily as a vacation rental. We did minor cosmetic work in the spring of 2014. This was a very small budget project; we ended up spending around $1250 for the entire condo. These changes included painting, adding new furniture, organizing, and re-arranging the furniture layout. After the cosmetic renovation, the unit was booked solid for the entire vacation season (three times more rentals than the previous year). It was sold in the spring of 2015 after being on the market for two weeks (was listed for sale the previous year before renovations and did not sell).
